Julia is from Santa Fe, where she obtained two BAs; English Teaching  and English-Spanish Translation. She has hold several teaching positions in Argentina and has been a freelance translator since 2007.

In 2013, she came to the US to pursue a MA in Foreign Languages in West Virginia University, after which she worked as an Interpreter, Translator & Cultural Mediator in a children’s hospital in CT, and then as a Translation Project Manager in a public university in TX. Since August 2017, she serves as an Instructor of Spanish and Translation in American University.

After having lived in several different states, Julia is thrilled by the cultural diversity that DC has to offer and wants to provide options for and help integrate the large Argentine community in Washington DC.
