Welcome to CEGA's Career Center! This section is a result of the agreement signed between our organization and LatPro, one of the largest career boards in the United States and the number one site for Hispanic professionals in the United States.

What is LatPro?

LatPro was founded in 1997 and is the only trilingual job search engine especially geared toward Hispanic professionals. Over 13,000 companies in the United States – including 89 Fortune 100 firms - currently depend on the services of LatPro to find Hispanic or bilingual (English-Spanish/Portuguese) professionals.

By using CEGA's Career Center “powered by LatPro,” you will be able to find sources of employment throughout the United States in a wide array of industries, such as telecommunications, accounting, manufacturing, financial services and computer science, among others.

CEGA and LatPro

The relationship between CEGA and LatPro began in 2003 when the two parties signed an agreement for 2004 in which LatPro granted CEGA six-month associate memberships to our members free of charge and listed CEGA on its website. In exchange, CEGA would promote LatPro memberships, explain how to use them, and provide a link to the career center on its Webpage.

Owing to the excellent relations between the two parties and the success of the agreement, CEGA and LatPro have extended the term of the agreement through 2005.

Unlike the previous agreement, in 2005 members of CEGA can have memberships for a period of one year, instead of six months.

How to use the Career Center

1) If you are new to LatPro:

a. Access the CEGA Career Center

b. Click on “post your resume”

c. Follow the steps for registration (create your profile, post your resume, create your Job Agent)

d. At the second to the last step, choose “Associate” membership

e. On the following page, enter the code CEGA0405 and choose a 12-month associate membership (U$ 110). Click to continue.

f. On the following screen, the system will show you a final cost of $0. Click on “continue” to finish.

2) If you have a LatPro account but NEVER had a paid membership:

a. Login to your account with your e-mail address and password

b. Go to your cart

c. Enter the code CEGA0405 and choose a 12-month associate membership (U$ 110). Click to continue.

d. The system will show you a final cost of $0. Click on “continue” to finish.

3) If you have already had a paid membership with LatPro, (whether through CEGA or not), follow the following steps:

a. Login to your account with your e-mail address and password

b. Go to your cart

c. Enter the code CEGAR and choose a 12-month associate membership. Click to continue.

d. The system will show you a final cost of $0. Click on “continue” to finish.
