CEGA (Centro de Estudiantes y Graduados Argentinos en Estados Unidos) is a nonprofit organization that promotes the academic, social and cultural exchange and development of its members and the communities they belong to, both in Argentina and the United States.
A few of our goals are:
To promote Argentine culture in academic and professional environments in the United States through social, cultural, political, academic, sports, and recreational activities, and through conferences and seminars, among others.
To serve as a forum for discussions and debates regarding issues of common interest to the Argentine students and professionals who live in the United States , thereby promoting their participation as Argentine representatives in their respective environments.
To promote activities that allow for the dissemination of knowledge of the political, social and economic situation of Argentina and the United States in the academic world.
To provide general information to Argentine citizens who want to study in the United States, especially information related to universities, living expenses, and application procedures, among others, and to be a point of contact for universities or academic centers in Argentina that may be interested in certain aspects of academic life in the United States. To help create a network of Argentines who live in the United States through social and cultural events.
